Job Description


Our Satcom client are looking for a Senior Algorithm/DSP Engineer to join their growing team. The successful will be responsible for developing and simulating the modem algorithms.


  • Work jointly with the technology partner to understand, develop and optimize the modem algorithms
  • Simulate extensively the algorithm to reach the best performances;
  • Work jointly with the FPGA team to define best implementation strategy and overcome design/implementation issues;
  • Mentor junior engineer(s) as necessary to develop the team knowledge in terms of algorithm and simulation;
  • Contribute to assessment and modelling of modem evolutions and new product development (other Satcom products).
  • Contribute and support the growth of the company in terms of research and technology development (publications, patents, etc..)


  • Expertise in algorithm development in the field of telecommunications (ideally applied to satcom modem)
  • Expertise in digital signal processing and wireless communications (all aspects of the modem design such as modulation, filtering, spectrum optimization, etc..)
  • Solid experience in modelling/simulating algorithms with typical tools and software: Matlab-Simulink, GNU octave..)
  • Good software programming skills (C, C++, Python)



  • BSc/MSc or PhD in Electrical, Electronics, digital signal processing and/or wireless Communication Engineering,
  • English - Berlitz Level 8, IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 550 or equivalent (Fluent/Proficient in English, both spoken and written)

Minimum Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in algorithm development in the field of wireless communications (ideally satcom modem)
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience using algorithm modeling and simulation tools and programming languages
