Production and Manufacturing Expert


We are working with a very exciting up-and-coming New Space company who are developing small sat constellations which provide reliable imaging of the Earth!

They are looking to hire a Production and Manufacturing Engineer with a background in electronics to join their team! This position has the potential to build your own team within the next few years.


Your daily tasks:

  • Coordinating process of PCB, PCBA procurement, production, assuring quality, acceptance testing and qualification
  • Conduct and implement design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback into our design
  • Accountable for supplier audits to ensure their ability to meet part performance, delivery, and reliability expectations
  • Be responsible for certifying product for production release according to given requirements
  • Assure overall quality of product by managing process of design qualification and design acceptance testing
  • Design experiments and conduct research according to best practices in order to bring scientific judgment into product validation
  • Use laboratory equipment needed for electronic tests and manufacturing
  • Work in a global team, share knowledge and experience with other team members, cooperate with 3rd parties, cooperate with local and global certification agencies and laboratories

Your background and skillset:

  • Master's/Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or another relevant discipline
  • 5+ years of professional experience in product industrialization, preferably for mass production of electronic devices
  • Professional experience with the production of high reliability, high complexity PCB and PCB assemblies
  • Proficiency in quality standards, vendor audits and running root-cause analysis for failures in electronic devices
  • Fluency in spoken and written English

Nice to have:

  • Experience and know-how of high reliability and military equipment manufacturing
  • Some programming skills, like Python
  • You are comfortable with Linux
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative, and communicate effectively

Due to the pandemic, it is possible for this position to start remotely until regular travel resumes where the position will become full time on-site.
