Senior Antenna Engineer

Texas, USA

On-site (Remote with frequent travel to the site in TX can be considered); Full-time; Permanent

 

An exciting Senior Antenna Engineer opportunity has just arisen with one of our partners who are developing a satellite constellation that will improve humankind globally in the broadband and connectivity sphere.

 

Responsibilities:

-Design and simulation of space antennas

-Testing and integration of antenna and RF components. This will include automation testing and data processing

-You will be the subject matter expert when it comes to antenna design and implementation

-You will oversee third-party vendors and offer technical management

-As and when required you will support RFPs, bids, and proposals

-You will update internal stakeholders on the present program status

 

Requirements:

-A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical area

-Over 5 years of relevant working experience

-Experience in the full lifecycle of the development of antenna systems – Designing, simulating and testing

-Experience in RF and/or microwave antenna systems - Satellite antennas; Any frequency

-Experience with antenna simulation tools

-Great RF testing skills using different instruments and including range testing

-Proficiency with MATLAB and/or other related programming languages

-Experience with CST Microwave Studio, HFSS, GRASP, FEKO, and/or other computational electromagnetics software tools

-Ability to multitask and handle several projects at a single time (6 to 8 at different stages)

-Ability to communicate at all levels across the organization and ability to translate technical language to layman’s terms

-Good at technically managing vendors

-Ability to travel up to 15% of the time – Domestic and international

-You must be a US citizen, Green Card holder or hold a US working permit
